    Overview:

In accordance with OCAA's mandate to provide members with opportunities to improve and enhance their tree care companies, the OCAA has requested a 2-day aerial rescue course to be delivered by instructors Matt Logan and Cory Sexsmith.

    Objective:

This training course will provide attendees with theoretical and practical knowledge in regards to responding and reacting to an emergency aloft. While theory and fundamentals will be discussed this training will also work with attendees to ensure that the aerial rescue systems and scenarios taught are practical, applicable and efficient. This will be achieved by having an "open classroom" where students are encouraged to bring their experiences, questions and ideas to the forefront to direct the course to get the best results. This course will help employers meet safety program requirements for aerial rescue and due diligence in regards to employee competence.
