0 to 8 Tonne Crane Competency Course

Under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), operators of articulated cranes with a lifting capacity under 16,000 lbs (approximately 8 tonnes) must be accredited by their employers.

This one-day certification course, delivered by Bob Foran of Foran's Training, is designed for experienced operators and integrates both theoretical instruction and practical training in crane operation and safety.

Participants will learn how to:

• Improve operator safety

• Increase productivity

• Extend the service life of crane equipment

• Reduce downtime and maintenance costs

This course has been developed to meet the intent of applicable regulations under Ontario’s labour legislation.
