Annual Arborist Day of Service

Every year in the spring the OCAA organizes a Day of Service to mark Arbor Day, an international celebration of trees. Host sites are usually charities or not for profit organizations that have a significant collection of trees that they would otherwise be unable to afford to maintain. Member companies typically donate one or two crews and their associated equipment for the day while suppliers contribute materials such as fertilizer and rental equipment. The Day of Service provides an opportunity for companies to give back to the wider community while also gaining publicity. The day typically runs from 8am to 2pm, culminating with a meal supplied by the host organization where participating Arborists can relax, mingle and share tree stories!

If you represent or know of an organization in need of tree work (non-profits, places of worship, etc.) Click the button below to fill out the pdf form and email it back to us for consideration.
