Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Seeking a manager to oversee arboriculture, land stewardship, roadway maintenance, and operations across two estates. This role requires strong administrative skills, technical expertise in arboriculture, people management, and ability to coordinate day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage arboriculture across both estates.
• Oversee woodland, grasslands, rainwater systems, roadway maintenance, green waste processing, coastal management, hard landscaping features, and perimeter fencing.
• Collaborate with the Head Gardener and colleagues on planning, prioritization, and execution of works.
• Supervise, train, and support staff to ensure safe work practices, equipment use, and secure storage.
• Manage family pet care supervisor responsible for care of three cats and two dogs.
• Prepare and manage budgets, purchasing, and shipping.
• Provide weekly work updates for horticulture reports.
• General administration, use of a timekeeping software App. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Advanced arboriculture or land management certifications, experience working on large private estates or similar environments, knowledge of coastal land management and erosion mitigation.
