Brief Description & Job Description: We’re looking for a motivated Arborist Tree Climber to join our crew. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with solid climbing experience and a passion for working outdoors. You'll be part of a skilled team performing everything from technical removals to fine pruning—always with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality.
What You'll Do
Perform a variety of arboriculture services, including climbing, pruning, and removals.
Safely operate chainsaws, pruners, chippers, stump grinders, and other site-specific equipment.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
Drive company vehicles and trailers to and from job sites (where qualified).
Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
What You Bring
Minimum 2 years of experience in urban forestry climbing (required).
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a team player.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional focus on safety and attention to detail.
Valid G Class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (required).
Previous experience driving company trucks of varying sizes with or without pulling a wood trailer or equipment trailer is an asset.
DZ License and ISA Arborist Certification are strong assets.
